Weekend Warrior 03/27/2015

by Justin Mikos on Mar 27, 2015 at 02:00 PM

This weekend a lot of the editors and interns are going to GlitchCon where there will be a live recording of Replay which is going to be really awesome for everyone. The most popular game to play this weekend is certainly Bloodborne, but beyond that everyone seems to be playing unique games. Be sure to share what plans you have for the weekend in the comments below!

Laleh Tobin(@LalehAzarshin): I'll be helping my mom move to a new home, but I'm determined to hunt monsters and see what unfolds in Telltale's Game of Thrones Episode 3.

Matthew Kato (@MattKato): I plan to start up Pillars of Eternity this weekend. Full disclosure: I don't know anything about this game other than that it's an RPG and Miller's been raving about it so much, that I'm very intrigued. Speaking of RPGs, I've also got Dragon Age: Inquisition waiting in the wings. The series never took off with me since I tried the first one, but obviously a lot of time has passed, and I've had Inquisition recommended to me by people I trust.

Tim Turi (@timturi): This weekend I’ll be attending GlitchCon in Minneapolis, but I’m making sure to carve out extra time to play games. I’m hoping some convention goers will have a 3DS with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on it so we can have some impromptu hunts. Additionally, I’ll be filling in the gaps with as much Bloodborne as I can, as well as playing through the Final Fantasy XV demo with some friends.

Brian Shea (@BrianPShea): I’m going to be continuing bashing my head against the wall in Bloodborne (and loving every minute – okay, nearly every minute). When I get too frustrated, I’ll switch to something less stressful like Battlefield: Hardline or NBA 2K15.

Kyle Hilliard (@Kylemhilliard): I'm still working my way through Ori. I've only had a few chances to play unfortunately. Otherwise I'll just be hanging out with the family laying assorted April Fool's Day prank booby traps throughout the house.

Ben Hanson (@yozetty): This weekend is going to be pretty busy with this magical GlitchCon convention at the University of Minnesota where we'll be doing a live Replay and a bunch of other fun things. Come on by if you're in Minnesota! Other than that, I'll most likely continue my love affair with Cities Skylines.

Ben Reeves (@BenjaminReeves): We’re recording a replay live during Minnesota’s Glitchcon convention. I recently went back and played The Swapper and loved it, so now I need a new game to play. This weekend I might eat a stick of butter and play Bloodborne.

Jon Gregory (@JMan240): I’ll be playing a little game I like to call, “Try Not To Die From All The Terrible, Delicious Food I’ll Be Eating Over The Course Of Glitch Con.” Also, probably BioShock Infinite, because I got Burial At Sea on sale last week but it took until this morning to finish the download.

Elise Favis (@elisefavis): Going back to one of my all-time favorites, Mass Effect 2, with my weird Shepard that looks like she’s wearing clown make-up. Besides that… I think I might go back to Kentucky Route Zero. I originally played the first act about a year ago, and since forgot about it. It had a great story, so I wouldn’t mind picking up again where I left off. I think I’ll be making more progress with Danganronpa as well.

Justin Mikos (@JustinMikos): I’m going to GlitchCon this weekend to watch the live recording of Replay! If I have any time for games I’m probably going to play more of Kingdom Hearts II HD Final Mix. I reached the door to the final boss, but I’m going to focus on taking on all of the new optional bosses they added including the extra hard versions of the Organization XIII members. I’m also planning on watching the latest episode of Durarara X2 and the final episode of Aldnoah.Zero. Enjoy your weekend everybody!
