Hearthstone's Blackrock Mountain Gets Dealt Early April Release Date

Blizzard has announced that Blackrock Mountain, the upcoming expansion for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, will go live on April 2 and is currently available for pre-purchase.

The new adventure introduces 31 new cards that are acquired through difficult battles against iconic opponents. The expansion also includes a new game board, new music, and new encounters. Hearthstone's nine existing classes are also expanded through two new class cards each.

Blackrock Mountain will be made simultaneously available on Windows, Mac, iPad, and Android tablets. Blackrock Mountain: A Hearthstone Adventure is currently available for pre-purchase for $24.99. Those who purchase the expansion prior to Blackrock Mountain going live will also receive the Molten Core card.
