Image & Form Unearths Plans For SteamWorld Dig On Xbox One

by Mike Futter on Mar 25, 2015 at 05:09 AM

Image & Form Games is building up steam, after releasing its 2013 Metroid-style SteamWorld Dig on PlayStation 4 and Vita this year. The studio is hard at work on the follow-up, SteamWorld Heist, but wants to make cast as wide a net before that with its first title.

SteamWorld Dig is coming to Xbox One, likely by the end of May. The title will include some gameplay tweaks and an Xbox-specific easter egg.

Our Take
I enjoy the aesthetic and world that Image & Form created for its SteamWorld series. While it may seem a bit late to bring this title to Xbox One, creating a larger fanbase in advance of the sequel is a smart move. It doesn’t hurt that SteamWorld Dig is worth your time.
