From Software's Bloodborne launches on Tuesday, and it's safe to say it is going to be a tough game, much like it's predecessor Dark Souls. Is it too tough, though?

I beat Dark Souls II and while the highs were high, the lows were frustrating and often more difficult than I felt it was ultimately worth. I am tentative about Bloodborne simply because I don't know if I want to subject myself to that type of experience again. I was incredibly proud of myself after completing each boss and eventually the game, but I don't know if I enjoyed myself.

How do you feel about intentionally difficult games? When is punishing too punishing? Are you excited for Bloodborned because of your Dark Souls experiences? Or will you pass on Bloodborne because of your Dark Souls experiences? Let us know in the comments below.
