Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation Trailer Straps Tom Cruise To The Side Of An Airplane

by Kyle Hilliard on Mar 22, 2015 at 06:32 AM

The Mission Impossible movies have historically placed Tom Cruise (and not his stunt double, notably) in precariously high positions, and the latest entry in the franchise seems to be no exception.

This time, instead of being on top of a very high cliff, or the Burj Khalifa (the tallest man-made structure in the world, according to Wikipedia), they decided to just strap him to the side of a plane and take off. You can check out the trailer below, which is apparently just a teaser for the full trailer which premieres March 23.

It's worth noting that one of the writers on the film, Will Staples, actually made a name for himself in the world of video games. Before being featured as a writer on Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation (his first film gig) he wrote on Need for Speed: Rivals, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Lair, and Pursuit Force.
