Xbox One's April update, which has chat and Achievement improvements, is heading out to preview members.

According to Xbox Live's Major Nelson, the update is rolling out to preview members in two waves. The first wave went out yesterday and the second wave will go out next week.

The update includes party chat improvements which adds troubleshooting guidance to help you get your mic up and running and improvements to the activity feed. The most immediately noticeable update, however, is to Achievements. When you unlock an achievement, its description will now appear in the notification so you no longer have to go into the Achievement app to see what it is you did to unlock it.

Our Take
I love that the description of the Achievement will appear in the notification next month. Even if I know exactly why I unlocked an Achievement, I will pause my game to see how I unlocked it out of habit. I like that I won't have to do that anymore.
