PSA: Don’t Miss Out On Your Free Monster Hunter 4 Mario Palico Gear
Have you been playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate? Planning on getting started soon? Capcom has some free items for you, but time is running out.
Once you have your copy of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, be sure to head over to the eShop. There you’ll find the Patch 1.1 update for the title. This delivers a plethora of items that you can use on your quest for bigger and better gear.
Included in the pack, you’ll get:
- Mega Potion x50
- Honey x30
- Mega Dash Juice x15
- Well-done Steak x30
- Max Potion x10
- Lifepowder x20
- Ancient Potion x5
- Flash Bomb x30
- Sonic Bomb x30
- Pitfall Trap x15
- Shock Trap x15
- Super Mushroom x6
Those super mushrooms are a key ingredient in crafting the Mario or Luigi gear for your Palico. Once you’ve downloaded the patch, head to your house, talk to the housekeeper, select “downloadable content” and then the “gift area” option. Once you download the starter pack, it will be in your item box.
Now, complete the first two quests from the Caravaneer, talk to your Ace palico and set it to “Deploy.” You’ll also need to purchase three large barrels for 630z and have another 1300z in the bank.
Take the super mushrooms, the barrels, and your money to the Smithy. Choose the “forge Palico gear” item from the menu and forge the Invincible Hammer and then the head and chest for either the Mario or Luigi gear.
This will take all your super mushrooms, but fear not. Capcom will make available a downloadable quest to get more in the future. So while you can only choose Mario or Luigi right now, you’ll be able to complete your set at some point.
