343 Industries Shows Off In-Progress Halo 3: ODST, Relic Map Images
Halo: The Master Chief Collection might finally be getting on its feet after four long months of matchmaking and social problems. With a recent patch that seems to have significantly improved performance in the hands of players, 343 Industries is looking ahead to promised updates for the title.
We’ve known for some time that Halo 3: ODST and the Halo 2 “Relic” map are in the works for The Master Chief Collection. Today, 343 Industries is showing off where those items are in the development cycle.
Internal and community testers are playing Relic to lock down balance and identify areas in need of polish. There are no specific release dates for the map or the ODST campaign at this time. 343 Industries says that there will be another performance-enhancing update coming in April and server-side improvements taking place before then.
With the problems that plagued The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries needs to take its time and make sure that these new bits of content are solid when they launch. For more on the title, check out our review.
