Borderlands' Nisha And Claptrap Available Now As Free Dance Central: Spotlight Dancers

by Kyle Hilliard on Mar 08, 2015 at 06:51 AM

Harmonix announced today the culmination of a strange partnership with Gearbox that has brought Borderlands' Nisha the Lawbringer and Claptrap to Dance Central: Spotlight as playable dancers.

Accessing the characters is free and uses the thought-forgotten art of video game cheat codes. On the character select screen you just need to press the X button five times to unlock Nisha, or the Y button five times for Claptrap. They don't suddenly appear as selectable characters on the select screen. Instead, whoever you had previously selected will turn into the Borderlands character you inputted the code for.

Claptrap is particularly difficult to use as he doesn't have legs, but the game still registers your leg movements. This means you have to have the dances memorized as he won't give you any indication of what leg moves to do.
