The Elder Scrolls Online Update 6 Lets You Be Bad, Extends Endgame

by Jon Gregory on Mar 06, 2015 at 06:22 AM

Update 6 for The Elder Scrolls Online is live on servers now, and bound to increase the crime rate in Tamriel.

One of the most loved elements of The Elder Scrolls series is the ability to do almost anything – including stuff like filling a house with severed heads and bodies. Those who value being terrible people in the fictional world of Tamriel will now be able to do so online. The Justice system adds in many of the series’ crime-related staples, from murder and thievery to bribing all the bad things away.

Players who have finished the game, and aren’t interested in going on killing sprees, can continue adventuring with their Veteran Rank characters thanks to the new Champion system. Any players with Veteran characters on their account are now able to earn Champion Points, which can be invested in new passive abilities for max rank characters.

For those interested in the new systems, Bethesda has released guides for the Justice and Champion systems to get players started. If you’re interested in all the other changes Update 6 adds in, you can check out the complete patch notes on the game’s site.

In case you missed it, the Elder Scrolls Online dropped its subscription fee earlier this year and is set to come to consoles in June.
