One Hundred Million Enemies Defeated In Helldivers

Helldivers is a twist on classic twin-stick shooter mechanics, putting players in the middle of a galactic war and surrounding them with carnage. The enemies (and bullets) are too numerous to count...or so we thought. It turns out that counting the enemies isn't so hard after all.

Sony's Scott Rohde revealed over Twitter that players have gunned down 100,000,000 enemies:

Our Take
I kind of want to say "congratulations" to the players, but if you're shooting enemies in Helldivers, you're just doing your job. However, this is great news for Sony and developer Arrowhead Studios, because it means that plenty of people have picked the game up.
