A Gold Monster Skin Can Be Yours This Weekend In Evolve
Previously in Evolve, coming across a gold-skinned monster meant that you were playing against one of the developers at Turtle Rock. Now the studio is giving players the gold monster skin for free.
Play an online match between 11 pm Central on Thursday, March 5 and 11 pm Central Sunday, March 8 and you'll get the skin (which goes on the Goliath, Kraken, or Wraith) just for playing. It will be delivered after the weekend but before March 14.
Turtle Rock says this is the first of future community challenges for rewards and other events, and teases that the next such one will be a St. Patrick's Day Trapper Challenge.

At the risk of looking a gift horse in the mouth... I wish the skin was tied to an accomplishment so that it signified something when someone used it. Now everyone's monster is going to be running around in gold like a chav.
