Reader Discussion: Who Is Your Favorite Scary Gaming Monster?

In honor of Friday the 13th, let's take a moment to talk about video game monsters. They're big, they're ugly, but we love them. There are a lot to choose from, but surely you have a favorite. Which horrifying video game monster is your favorite?

Evolve just came out and has a lot of great monsters (though it could have more), and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate just hit the shelves, so it's a good time to be a fan of big monsters. Obviously zombies aren’t a bad pick, but they’re too common for me. I’ve always found the The Witch from Left 4 Dead terrifying, but I might have to give my money to the Nemesis from Resident Evil.
