Ubisoft Plans Five Triple-A Titles During Next Fiscal Year, Including The Division

by Mike Futter on Feb 12, 2015 at 06:12 AM

Ubisoft has set expectations for its triple-A portfolio for the coming fiscal year. The company has re-affirmed releases of anticipated titles for the year ending March 31, 2016.

For those wondering about The Division, Ubisoft still says to expect it in the coming financial year. Note that this doesn’t necessarily mean 2015, as the final quarter occurs in 2016.

Additionally, Rainbow Six Siege is still on track for the coming fiscal period. Assassin’s Creed, which was confirmed earlier this year following a leak, is also not taking a year off.

That leaves two titles still to be announced. For more, read up on Ubisoft’s current fiscal year and the performance of its titles during holiday 2014

Our Take
I suspect we won’t have a solid release window for The Division until E3, and even then (as history shows) it could still be delayed. Other than Assassin’s Creed likely releasing in the fall, I don’t have a good feel for when Ubisoft will drop the rest of its games.

It’s been very quiet on the Rainbow Six and The Division fronts. Ubisoft could be looking at a holiday 2015 season with too much internal competition.
