Bruce Lee Gets Some Exercise In Temple Run 2

by Ben Reeves on Feb 12, 2015 at 08:42 AM

Bruce Lee never got the chance to be a gamer, but he's been in a surprising number of games. Now the martial arts legend is a playable character in the hit mobile endless runner Temple Run 2. He runs like water.

Temple Run developer Imangi Studios has teamed up with the Bruce Lee estate to include the legendary martial artist as a playable character in Temple Run 2. This isn't the first time Bruce Lee has been in a game and it probably won't be the last. In addition to an inclusion in last year's EA Sports UFC, Mr. Lee also had his own game on the original Xbox. You can add Bruce Lee to your Temple Run game starting today for only 99 cents. Check out a video of Bruce on the move, below.

Our Take
Bruce Lee shouldn't really have any connection to gaming, but he's something of a cultural icon, so it's kind of fun to see him pop up in games from time to time. Still, there's something a little strange about the fact that he keeps appearing in video games. It's not like we do that with Jackie Chan or Chuck Norris...maybe when they're dead?
