White House Partners With Twitch And ESL To Encourage Health Insurance Sign-Ups
The deadline for signing up for health insurance with the assistance of the United States government is rapidly approaching. In a new effort to get the word out to young people, the White House has teamed with Twitch, ESL, and eSports personalities.
The campaign features Wargaming League commentator Randal “Ruukil” Holcombe, ESL creative producer Joshua “Clutch08” Gray, Team Evil Geniuses Manager Anna Prosser and her husband Geoff “EGINcontrol” Robinson of Evil Geniuses. The PSA below is a mix of personal stories and motivation for people to seek out information about affordable health care before the February 15 deadline.
Using eSports personalities is a smart way for the government to reach a community that might be otherwise disinclined or uninformed about the options available to them. The White House says that there are plans starting at around $100 available. For more information, visit HealthCare.gov.
