The Star Fox Gang Is Older And Wiser In New Pixel Art Prints

by Matt Helgeson on Feb 05, 2015 at 02:51 PM

Artist Alex Griendling imagines what Fox and company might look like 22 years (!) after their debut game.

On his site, Griendling writes, "It's been 22 years since we first met Team Star Fox in their SNES debut, and with a new Star Fox game being released this year, I decided to reimagine the team as they might look now. A little worse for wear, the hardships of missions past are etched into their battle-worn faces."

For $30, you get 5x5-inch prints (pictured above) of Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy. However, you better act fast. Instead of doing a set number of prints for the limited edition, Griendling has put them on sale from February 3 through February 6. He will print as many are sold in that time period, then announce how many prints were sold. No more will be printed after the initial orders. Basically, you have a little more than 24 hours to act. You can purchase the print set here.

Griendling frequently does game-inspired art, including these amazing laser-cut, wooden maps of Hyrule
