Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Demo, Hyrule Warriors Majora's Mask DLC Available Today

by Mike Futter on Feb 05, 2015 at 04:18 AM

If you are a seasoned Monster Hunter (or want to take on Capcom’s popular series for the first time), today’s a good day to start. Nintendo has announced via its weekly email that a demo for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate hits the eShop today.

For those not familiar with Monster Hunter and its ilk, you (and some friends) take up arms to battle large, ferocious monsters. Doing so yields materials for crafting, which you can in turn use to make better armor and stronger weapons. The full version will be out on February 13 for 3DS.

Also this week, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is available for pre-purchase and pre-load. It will unlock on February 20 when the title is released for Wii U.

The final highlight for the week is the arrival of the Majora’s Mask-themed DLC for Hyrule Warriors. We know you’ve been dying to play as Tingle (and who could blame you). The DLC will run you $7.99, but it’s also part of the season pass.

Our Take
It seems like a good time to return to Hyrule Warriors, at least for a laugh. And for Monster Hunter fans, we suspect you’ll have plenty with which to keep your busy until the full game is out next week.
