Dragon Age: Inquisition Takes Top Honors At 18th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards
Last year, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us dominated the D.I.C.E. Awards. This year, that honor went to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, but despite winning eight categories it was bested by Dragon Age: Inquisition for game of the year.
BioWare's sprawling RPG also won the best role-playing game award. Other multiple category winners included Destiny, Hearthstone, and Super Smash Bros. Pong creator Al Alcorn and father of video Ralph Baer both received Pioneer Awards for their crucial contributions to interactive entertainment.
