ArenaNet Announces Guild Wars 2's First Expansion, Heart Of Thorns

Guild Wars 2 is getting its first expansion, Heart of Thorns, and with it comes a large list of new additions.

Announced at PAX South and showcased in the trailer below, Heart of Thorns takes place in a jungle and adds a new competitive mode, Guild Halls, new civilizations, new ways to explore (like flight), new professions and specializations, new boss battles, enemies, and allies, and a new re-imagined progression – the mastery system.
