Earlier this week, Microsoft detailed how Windows 10 will interact with the Xbox One. Part of that integration is the Xbox App, which is available today for Windows 10 preview members.

In the video below, you’ll see how friends, profiles, and notifications work in the app. If you’re a member of the preview program you should be able to start using it today.

Our Take
Having the flexibility to game away from the console is a feature I’m excited about. I use my Vita to play PS4 titles, and I will likely push Xbox One content to my laptop. It will be important for Microsoft to have coverage for this feature across as much of the library as possible, though. If the selection is too slim, people won’t get in the habit of using the feature.
