Punch-Out!! Takes A Swing At Wii U Today

Last week, Nintendo announced that certain Wii titles will be updated and re-released to run on the Wii U natively. The first of those, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was released last week, also.

The second title in the trio of announced games hits today. The Wii version of Punch-Out is available today for a limited time, promotional price. 

For the first week, you can get the game for $9.99. After that, it will shift to its regular price of $19.99. Want to know if it's worth your time and money? Check out our review.

Next week marks the release of Metroid Prime Trilogy. This hard to find package of Samus’ first-person games can be yours without paying second-hand markup. It, too, will be $9.99 for the first week.

Our Take
I’m looking forward to seeing what else Nintendo decides to port over. I still hold out hope for Xenoblade Chronicles, but I have a feeling that won’t happen until long after the New 3DS version is out.
