Milla Jovovich Says Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Starts Filming In August
According to series star Milla Jovovich, the sixth Resident Evil film, The Final Chapter, will begin shooting in August of this year. The filming was originally delayed in August 2014, when Jovovich announced she was expecting another child and wanted to exercise caution during her pregnancy.
Jovovich says she has approximately 10 weeks until her due date, and says she will be nursing during the filming. In her Facebook post, she joked, "get ready wardrobe department for Alice's new 'easy mama access' costume."
The most recent theatrical film in the Resident Evil series was Resident Evil: Retribution, which released in 2012. As the name of the new film indicates, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter could be the final entry in the series that debuted in 2002. It currently does not have a set release date.
