Resident Evil Revelations 2 Slips Back A Week

by Mike Futter on Jan 15, 2015 at 04:00 AM

Capcom is giving Resident Evil Revelations 2 a bit more time to fester. The first episode has been delayed a week, which in turn pushes all later episodes out by the same amount.

“In an effort to fine-tune the final product, we've moved the release of the first episode back just one week to February 24,” says Capcom’s Brett Elston. This means that subsequent episodes will arrive as follows:

The retail version, including all four episodes, two bonus episodes, four raid mode throwback maps, four exclusive costumes, and Hunk and Wesker in raid mode will be out on March 17. Individual episode will cost $5.99, with the whole season available for $24.99 and including the two bonus episodes and Hunk playable in raid mode.

Our Take
Any delay that improves a title is fine by me. Episodic gaming is a new approach for Capcom, and getting this pilot right is important.
