Nintendo's Spring Third-Party Lineup

During this morning's Nintendo Direct, the company highlighted a number of titles from third-parties for its systems.

3DS Titles*

  • Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (February 13/Capcom) (shown) – A special edition bundle will also come out for the game with the 3DS XL.
  • Puzzle & Dragons Z and Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition (May/GungHo Online Entertainment) – This strategy/puzzle/RPG is popular in Japan is now coming to the U.S. Both titles are in the same package.
  • Etrian Mystery Dungeon (Spring/Atlus) – 3DS-exclusive title combines the Etrian Odyssey and Mystery Dungeon experiences.
  • Story of Seasons (March/Marvelous USA and XSEED Games) – A 3DS-exclusive farming/life sim.
  • Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy+ (February 13/Bandai Namco) – Has an improved view via the 3DS XL and uses the handheld's new controls – including interfacing with select amiibos to unlock aircraft skins on the 3DS XL. The game is also playable on the 3DS.
  • IronFall (February/VD-Dev) – This third-person shooter comes from a dev team of three people, and this title features a single-player campaign as well as six-person local or online multiplayer. The game works on 3DS and 3DS XL, as well as the 2DS. IronFall is an e-Shop exclusive.
  • Gunman Clive 2 (January 20/Horberg Productions) – Now with four playable characters.
  • Moon Chronicles Ep. 2, 3, 4 (January/Renegade Kid)
  • Citizens of Earth (January 20/Atlus) – Team up with over 40 citizens as the vice-president of Earth.
  • Sega 3D Classics (January/Sega) – Featuring Afterburner II, Outrun, and more.

Wii U e-Shop Titles

  • Elliot Quest (February/PlayEveryWare) – A side-scroller with multiple endings.
  • Blek (February/Broken Rules and kunabi brother) – An art puzzler.
  • Citizens of Earth (January 20/Atlus)
  • Project Treasure (In Development/Bandai Namco) – A four-player co-op title from the director of Tekken.
