Safe Haven Comes To Alien: Isolation

by Jeff Cork on Jan 13, 2015 at 04:03 AM

The third batch of Alien: Isolation DLC is available today, giving players a chance to see how long they'd last in an all-new survival mode. In Safe Haven, players take on the role of Sevastopol Station resident Hughes as he faces a series of difficult choices.

As the story begins, Hughes is holed up in one of the station's few safe places. Unfortunately, supplies are running out. Players will have to leave his sanctuary to complete objectives and scavenge the supplies necessary to survive against the alien and rogue Working Joe androids. If you played the campaign, you know that Hughes ultimately didn't fare too well against his synthetic counterparts. Perhaps this will give players a chance to successfully restore the station's communications in a what-if scenario.

Regardless of his ultimate fate, Hughes will explore the station's Gemini Systems or Bacchus Apartments in locations that Sega says are twice as large as the game's survivor mode maps.

The DLC is available for $7.99 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
