Minecraft Lego Sets Featuring Creepers, Endermen, And A Diamond-Armored Steve Now Available

by Mike Futter on Dec 31, 2014 at 03:59 AM

When Lego first approved Minecraft sets via its Lego Ideas program (neé Cuusoo), it felt just a little redundant. Since then, the building blocks based on the Mojang’s blocky building game have grown more popular and more varied.

Earlier this fall, Lego released a number of new, official sets from the Minecraft universe. Ranging in price from $19.99 to $109.99 (common prices for kits, but high enough that Vocativ recently wrote a fascinating story about Lego heists), you can build farms, caves, and a replication of your first night in a new Minecraft game. These are full-size blocks as opposed to the earlier micro-sized sets.

The most expensive of the sets recreate a fight against an Ender Dragon (complete with three Endermen) and an enormous mine. Beware the creeper, zombie, skeleton, and spider as you dig for precious materials.

You can check out the different options on Lego’s website. While the company lists these as available only online, we’re starting to see them at retail locations. Happy hunting and building.
