Rockstar Prolongs GTA V Online Holiday Perks Due To PSN And Xbox Live Issues

Rockstar announced on its /twitter that the Festive Surprise Christmas day gifts will be extended due to the recent connectivity issues with PSN and Xbox Live.

Outages started early yesterday. Xbox Live is mostly up and running now, but PSN is still down for many. Due to these interruptions, Rockstar has made it known that fans will not miss out on getting their bonuses. The Festive Surprise update let you purchase new vehicles, dress up in holiday attire, partake in snowball fights, and more. Players were to receive Christmas gifts in their inventory if they logged in on that day, which Rockstar says it's also going to extend. You can read Rockstar Support's post is below:

Our Take
The outages have definitely been a big bummer, and I'm glad to see Rockstar isn't letting diehard fans miss out on the extra perks. I hope more companies extend any special content that hit during the outages.
