Xbox 360 Update Held Up For Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

by Joe Juba on Dec 11, 2014 at 07:40 AM

Originally scheduled to release today, Xbox 360 gamers are going to have to wait a little longer for the fixes that the latest Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel update will bring.

Gearbox addressed the issue via Twitter: "We're aware that the Xbox 360 update for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel that was scheduled for today has not yet rolled out. Team is investigating and we will provide an update when available. Update will roll out no later than 12/16. Stay tuned for more information."

The PS3 and PC updates are also scheduled to hit on the 16th, so this delay doesn't put 360 owners behind or anything. They just aren't so far ahead anymore.

Our Take
This isn't anything to worry about. The update was initially hitting early on 360 anyway, so having to wait until it hits all platforms isn't a major concern...unless any of the anomalies are causing you serious problems in your playthrough, of course.
