"Yes, We Are Making Another God Of War" Says Sony Santa Monica

During the PlayStation Experience God of War retrospective, God of War II director Cory Barlog confirmed a new God of War is in development.

Sony Santa Monica teased and then confirmed the "announcement" on twitter. Barlog directed God of War II, but left the studio following the release of the game. This marks his return to Kratos' universe.

Barlog's announcement explains the sweater worn by president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America Shawn Laydon (seen above) and many others this morning.

I rank God of War II high among my favorite God of War games, so I am excited to see Barlog make a return.
