A New Look At The Legend Of Zelda, As It And Star Fox Reconfirmed For 2015

by Mike Futter on Dec 05, 2014 at 04:59 PM

Nintendo had the opportunity to open and close the first year of The Game Awards, making the most of the opportunity. We now have another look at some of what’s in store for the next entry in The Legend of Zelda series.

The new title, which has been reconfirmed for 2015, will feature a huge world. Link can climb to the top of high peaks and jump off safely with the aid of the sail cloth.

He can also ride Epona, who has become quite intelligent. Link’s faithful horse will continue moving in the current direction with little manipulation required (and without running into trees).

From horseback, Link can swing his sword and fire a bow. He can also vault off Epona and aim while falling (made easier thanks to a slow motion effect).

While Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma spoke about the upcoming title, the topic turned to Star Fox. Miyamoto says that Fox McCloud’s next outing will arrive before The Legend of Zelda next year.
