Danny Pudi Invites The Far Cry 4 Community To Make Maps With Exploding Dogs

by Mike Futter on Dec 04, 2014 at 10:18 AM

Danny Pudi (Community) has been asked by Ubisoft to talk about all the weird things you can do with Far Cry 4’s map editor. It’s safe to say that animals were harmed in the making of this video.

The map editor allows players to create and upload their own scenarios. And, in case you are a little twisted, you can make dogs explode. Don’t worry though, they are demons and probably deserved it.

For more on Far Cry 4 and its weaponized animals, check out our review. For weaponized Danny Pudi, you’ll need to use Photoshop.

Our Take
Map editors are fantastic inclusions, extending the life of a title well beyond its programmed content. However, having a mechanism like Rockstar uses for its Grand Theft Auto Online “jobs” cements the deal, labeling vetted content for players that don’t want to spend too much time searching. It appears that Ubisoft will begin doing that in the "featured" category soon, though it is currently populated by the publisher's maps.
