Skylanders Traps Shelf Space At Apple Stores Across The United States
If you walk into an Apple store today, you’ll be able to purchase the tablet version of Skylanders: Trap Team. You might recall from our earlier coverage, that this is the first time that Activision has released a full version on mobile devices, complete with a portal.
The mobile starter packs, which come with two characters and a trap, are also available on the Apple Online Store. The starter also comes with a bluetooth controller, but features touch controls and two built-in characters so it can be played with just the tablet.

Our Take
I’ve had the chance to check out the tablet version, and I’m impressed by what Toys for Bob and Vicarious Visions were able to accomplish. The game looks fantastic and plays well with the included bluetooth controller. Putting it in front of more people (especially as they are buying holiday electronics) is a smart move.
