Hyrule Warriors To Welcome Twili Midna As Next Playable Character
The next DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors, focused on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, will be out later this month. In preparation the game's supervisor, Eiji Aonuma, has revealed just who is joining the cast.
Twili Midna is the character Aonuma chose to represent the game for its theme pack. He explains why in a post on the Miiverse.
“When I was developing Twilight Princess, I thought it was such a waste to let a beautiful princess like her only appear in the ending,” he writes. “Now Koei Tecmo Games has made my wish to see more of her come true.”
She’ll wield the mirror of twilight, which appeared (and was broken) in Twilight Princess. She’s joined by new weapons, costumes, and an additional adventure map.
Aonuma teases that one of the outfits puts link in the apparel of another familiar character from the franchise. The Twilight Princess DLC pack will be out on November 27. For more on the Hyrule Warriors, check out our review and our previous coverage of the season pass.
