The second installment in the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy will make its way to PC next month. Square Enix has opened up pre-orders for the title and detailed some of the new features.

The PC version will run at 60 frames-per-second with customizable resolutions (something that was missing at launch from Final Fantasy XIII on PC). The title will sell for $19.99, with a 10 percent pre-order discount available.

Our Take
It's good to see Square addressing one of the larger criticisms of the Final Fantasy XIII release before the next installment is released. One of the great things about console titles coming to PC (even late) is that the platform is evergreen, without the need to have a legacy console connected to the television.
