Demon’s Quest, Gargoyle’s Quest II, And Kirby: Nightmare In Dreamland All Available Now On Virtual Console

by Kyle Hilliard on Nov 01, 2014 at 09:10 AM

Terrifying demon's, monsters, gargoyles, and of course the scariest video game of all – Kirby.

As promised earlier this month, Demon’s Crest and Gargoyle’s Quest II: The Demon Darkness are now both available on the Wii U Virtual Console. Along for the presumably Halloween-themed ride is also the surprise inclusion of Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, which despite it's title, doesn't inspire many scary dreams. You can check out trailers for all three re-releases below.

Demon's Crest, in particular, is one of the Super Nintendo's rarest games, which is good news for those interested in playing the game who didn't want to pay lots of money for a cartridge.

Our Take
I have never played Demon's Crest, but it is one I have always been curious about. From the trailer it looks like it has more in common with Castlevania than Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, which is where the character originated.
