This Destiny Ship’s Avionics Are Completely Made Of Lego Bricks

by Mike Futter on Oct 29, 2014 at 09:46 AM

If you played the Destiny alpha, the beta, and the retail game, you’ve heard Peter Dinklage’s Ghost character talk about the need for a good ship more times than you'd like. The one pictured above is a representation of Destiny’s Phaeton V2, and as you can tell, it's made of Lego bricks. We bet this isn't quite what Dinkelbot had in mind.

This vehicle (which may or may not have the warp drive you need to fight beyond Earth) was created by a builder named “Jake” and shared by Lego fan site The Brothers Brick. You can see in the gallery below that, while it’s not particularly large, it is a solid build.

I particularly like the detailing on the cockpit, the red accents, and the translucent orange studs used on the rear of the engines. You can check out more images of Jake’s Phaeton V2 (and his other creations) in his Flickr gallery.
