PSA: PlayStation 4 Update 2.0 Rolling Out Now

Update: We've discovered two problems with Update 2.0 so far. First, there are no themes available in the PlayStation Store yet. We suspect that these might be coming in today's store refresh, though we've reached out to Sony for confirmation.

There is also a problem linking accounts to YouTube via the Settings menu. We'll update should we receive a response on these two items.

Sony is pushing out its big “Masamune” update to PlayStation 4 users right now. Following installation, players will be able to use Share Play, upload videos to YouTube, themes, and more.

We were prompted to install the update immediately upon turning on the PlayStation 4. You’ll likely need to install it before connecting to online services like the PlayStation Store.

Installation took under five minutes, and the update was downloaded automatically when the console was in standby mode.
