In Freedom Wars, you play as a prisoner serving a 1 million year sentence. It can be reduced by fighting hulking monsters and rescuing civilians.

The title is designed for four players, but if you happen to find yourself short, you’ll be able to sub in AI fighters to assist you. Freedom Wars will be out on October 28 for Vita.

Our Take
I haven’t had a chance to demo this yet, but the action looks like a more fast-paced Monster Hunter or Soul Sacrifice. Good Vita exclusives are few and far between, which makes me interested in checking this one out sometime soon.
