Next Gen Grand Theft Auto V Expands FlyLo FM Station

by Ben Reeves on Oct 17, 2014 at 02:42 PM

Last year's Grand Theft Auto V featured a radio station called FlyLo FM, hosted by artist Flying Lotus. This year, for the release of the PS4 and Xbox One versions, Flying Lotus returned to the studio to add at least 30 minutes of new content to the game.

The new version of Grand Theft Auto V will feature over 30 minutes of new music, some of which is exclusive to the game. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's Krayzie Bone teamed up with Flying Lotus for one new song, and Doom added another new track. During a Twitch livestream yesterday, Flying Lotus talked about his contributions to the game.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V release on November 18, while the PC version hits on January 27. In total, the new version of the game features more that 100 new songs across all stations. Check out our review of the original game here.

Our Take
I think this is great. Rockstar has always been a great curator of music, so the new tracks are bound to be worthwhile. This doesn't entirely make me want to buy the game again, but if this much attention has been paid to updating the rest of the game then I just might.
