Aliens Vs. Predator Classic 2000 Free For Beta Testing GoG Galaxy

by Mike Futter on Oct 15, 2014 at 04:16 AM

GoG.com is giving away copies of Rebellion's Aliens Vs. Predator (2000) in exchange for your email address. Forking over your most intimate contact detail will also get you access to the GoG Galaxy beta.

In Aliens vs. Predator, you can choose to play as a Colonial Marine, Alien, or Predator. This version has been updated from its original 2000 release so you can run it on contemporary hardware.

The game includes single-player campaigns for each, but the purpose of giving you the game is to help test GoG Galaxy’s multiplayer servers. The service was announced this summer as a competitor to Valve’s Steam platform.

Galaxy will provide similar features, including auto-patching and a game launcher. You’ll be able to play your Galaxy titles cross-platform with those acquired from other storefronts.

Claim your copy before the offer expires on Friday, October 17, at 5:59 a.m. Eastern.
