Captain Toad Treasure Tracker Digs Up December 5 Release Date
Not to be overshadowed by Super Smash Bros. getting a release date, the crafty Captain Toad has marked his spot on the calendar (with an X of course). Nintendo has announced that you’ll be solving puzzles with Toad on December 5.
The puzzle game side story began as a minigame in 2013’s Super Mario 3D World. Now, Toad is starring in his own title, in which you’ll need to rotate the environment and platform your way through the maps.

Nintendo is blitzing retail this holiday, and having a big presence will help immensely. Unfortunately, Captain Toad won't be out in time for Black Friday, but its budget price ($39.99) will help move copies in the otherwise thin Christmas month.
