Divekick Addition Edition Comes To New-Gen Consoles This Week

by Mike Futter on Oct 06, 2014 at 12:11 PM

Iron Galaxy Studios’ two-button fighting phenom Divekick is making the salty jump to new-gen systems very soon. If you’ve been waiting to eschew most of the buttons on your shiny new controller, your time has almost arrived.

The Divekick Twitter account shared the news that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Divekick Addition Edition Plus will be out this week. The Addition Edition will also be arriving on PlayStation 3 and Vita as a free update.

The new versions will run you $9.99 and, no, cross-buy won’t be an option. You can read our review of the original release here.

Our Take
While I don’t understand much of the fighting game community-centric humor, I have enjoyed Divekick. The simple to learn, complex to master gameplay has its allure, especially when trash talking friends on the couch.
