Reader Discussion: What Old Cartoon Deserves Its Own Game?

by Matt Miller on Oct 03, 2014 at 01:01 PM

Recent sad news tells us of the decline and subsequent extinction of the classic network Saturday morning cartoon tradition. Of course, great cartoons like Korra, Star Wars Rebels, and the always controversial My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic have helped to fill the void, coming to kids and adults alike in new formats like cable and streaming video. Even so, it’s hard not to be a little nostalgic about the days when cartoons ruled the airways. So today we’re asking you to tell us about which old cartoon should make its way onto gaming screens.

Perhaps you believe Thundercats needs a shot at the limelight? Or maybe Voltron: Defender of the Universe deserves a chance to draw his blazing sword? Maybe we need a new installment of Animaniacs, which hasn’t had a new video game in years? How about a new-gen Gummi Bears game, and all the bouncy physics that would come with it? Would the Muppet Babies have better video game adventures than Scooby-Doo and his gang?
