[Update]: Dark Souls 2's Crown Of The Ivory King DLC Officially Coming Slightly Later In U.S.

by Matthew Kato on Sep 23, 2014 at 07:09 AM

Update: The U.S. branch of Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dark Souls 2's Crown of the Ivory King DLC will indeed not come out on September 24 as originally planned.

The DLC will now come out the following week on September 30 for the PS3, 360, and PC.

A statement from the company reads: "The sheer scope of Crown of the Ivory King facilitated the need for a bit more time to deliver a level of polish that the previous two chapters of The Lost Crown trilogy embodied. It is From Software's intent to only release Crown of the Ivory King with the highest level of quality possible."

Original Story: Bandai Namco UK has announced the delay of Dark Souls 2's Crown of the Ivory King DLC, setting off expectations that the same will occur for the U.S. version.

The DLC was supposed to arrive on September 24, but over in the U.K. it's being moved to the 30th.

We've contacted U.S. representatives, and will update this story when we hear back.

Regardless, enjoy these new screens that were recently released.
