New Beta Stage Opens Up For Mighty No. 9 Backers
Mighty No. 2 is really into water. As one of the bosses for Comcept's upcoming Mighty No. 9, she wears a repurposed diving suit that's equipped with arm nozzles. As the game's Kickstarter backers can see for themselves, our hero Beck will have to perform to the best of his abilities if he wants to defeat this diabolical character.
Comcept today revealed on its Kickstarter page that after updating the game's beta on Steam, backers will be able check out a draft of the stage. Keeping with the water theme, it's filled with hazards including iced-over pipes and ledges. Three weeks ago, the game's beta began with a peek at Mighty No. 5's stage. Speaking at a panel at PAX at the beta's opening, Comcept founder Keiji Inafune said that two additional levels would be coming to backers.

It's great to see Comcept delivering on its promises, giving backers a chance to see what their money is being spent on. Other devs who are considering a Kickstarter campaign should take notice and follow a similar course.
