Microsoft delivered a surprise announcement from TGS late last night. Hidetaka Suehiro’s (better known as “Swery,” creator of Deadly Premonition), D4 is going to be out soon. Actually, “soon” is an understatement. It’ll be out tomorrow, September 19.
Players take on the role of David Young, a time traveling investigator. He gains his power (somehow) on the day his wife dies and he loses his memory.
D4 is an episodic title, with the first chapter available for $14.99. The title makes full use of Kinect, but you can also opt to play with a controller. You can read our most recent preview from E3 and an interview earlier this week with Swery.
