War Thunder Developer Gaijin Entertainment Is Restoring A Soviet Tank
Recently, Gaijin Entertainment introduced the Soviet T-44 tank to War Thunder as part of the game’s Ground Forces expansion. Now, the team is partnering with the Central Museum of Armoured Vehicles in Kubinka, Russia to restore a real one.
In the first part of the series, we see the tank as it is now: rusted and in terrible disrepair. There are parts missing, and some have been crudely cut from the vehicle.
Thankfully, the turret still turns, giving the team hope. After assessing the scope of work, the team will get started on restoring the decaying exterior.
If you’ve got the slightest interest in World War II history (even if you aren’t a fan of War Thunder or other period military titles), this is fascinating material. As the series progresses, we’ll see whether the team at the museum along with Gaijin Entertainment can restore it to full function.
