Super Smash Bros. 3DS Demo Coming Soon

Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is getting a playable demo shortly.

The demo hits on September 19 and contains five characters: Mario, Link, Pikachu, Villager, and Mega Man, as well as the Battlefield stage. It includes local multiplayer, and can only be opened 30 times.

Platinum Club Nintendo members (between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014) with registered 3DS hardware or software are also currently receiving four codes for early access to the demo.

Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS comes out on October 3.

Our Take:
Nintendo still hasn't announced the release date for the Wii U version, but something is better than nothing.
