Donate To Charity For A Chance To Play Video Games With Will Ferrell

by Kyle Hilliard on Sep 10, 2014 at 02:43 PM

Will Ferrell is holding a contest for a winner to play some video games with him, and it's all in the interest of raising money for charity.

To be part of Will Ferrel’s Super Mega Blast Max Charity Gaming Extravaganza, taking place in San Francisco on October 26, all you need to do is donate a minimum of $10 to this IndieGoGo campaign. As long as the campaign raises at least $375,000, Will Ferrell will live stream a gaming event on Twitch that two lucky donators will be able to attend – all expenses paid. Winners will also get a chance to tour Twitch's offices, meet other special guests including professional gamers, take some photographs with Ferrel, and of course play video games with him live on Twitch.

Proceeds from the campaign will go to DonateGames and Cancer for College.

You can find more information about the contest/fundraising even by heading here. As Ferrell says in the video below, ”I know the popular perception of gamers is that we are all extremely motivated, highly philanthropic, and impossible good looking. Let’s not alter people’s perception of us.” You can head here to donate.
